Program historical

In 2009, the Academic Cooperation Agreement between UFES and UFRJ, aimed at establishing the Graduate Program in Accounting Sciences at UFES (PPGCon), with the exchange of faculty, researchers, and students from both universities, was ratified by the University Council of UFES through Decision 167/2009.

In August 2010, the program received official approval from the National Education Council (Portaria MEC 1045, dated August 18, 2010, published in the Official Gazette on August 19, 2010, section 1, page 13).

Furthermore, in August 2010, the first cohort of students entered the program.

Graduates and enrolled:The program already has 137 masters and 7 doctors and counts with 68 students regularly enrolled, being 43 in the masters and 25 in the doctorate.
