Welcome to Graduate Program in Accounting Sciences (PPGCC) at Ufes

General Course Objective:

The Graduate Program in Accounting Sciences at the Federal University of Espírito Santo aims to provide qualified personnel with technical and scientific expertise for professional, teaching, and research activities in the field of Accounting Sciences.

The specific objectives of the Graduate Program in Accounting Sciences are:

a. Regarding students: to offer opportunities for them to deepen their professional and academic knowledge and to develop their ability to conduct research in the field of Accounting Sciences.

b. Regarding faculty: to provide them with the conditions to consolidate and expand their research.

c. Regarding the institution: to strengthen teaching and research activities systematically by institutionalizing permanent research lines, fueled by new projects and new researchers.

Graduate Profile:

Students in the PPGCON program receive a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge and quantitative and qualitative methods during the course and in the preparation of their dissertations. Therefore, the envisioned profile of graduates is that they all have developed scientific, analytical, and technical knowledge to conduct research or enhance their professional activities. It is expected that all graduates can contribute to the technical and scientific education of professionals and students in schools, universities, and extension courses.

The program is based in Vitória-ES, offering and has an academic qualification profile certified by CAPES, receiving on its last evaluation.

The program already has 124 masters and 3 doctors and counts with 54 students regularly enrolled, being 32 in the masters and 22 in the doctorate.
